What is Networking? Definition (Advantages and Disadvantages).

                         WHAT IS NETWORKING.

        Tow or more computer connected with each other to sharing the resources such as database, file sharing, data sharing, device sharing is known as networking.
* Network are built with a mix of computer hardware and software computer.
* To provide inter-process communication.
* To provide distribution of work.
* To provide function or operations.

   For example :- we are connect one printer on computer in network and share that scanner for the other computer on the network.

ADVANTAGES OF NETWORKING.

* Data sharing.

             Data sharing help in running software which requires many of people to access the data at a same time in a different palce.
For example :- Software to share a database ,file sharing etc.

* Hardware sharing:-

              Hardware sharing such as DVD, printer, Scanner etc,

*Connectivity and Communication:-

The network connects computer and the users within  a building or a network group connect into the local area network (LAN).

* Internet Access:-

                             Small computer allow multiple users to share a single internet connection. Specially hardware devices allow the bandwidth of connection to allocated the various single computer as they needs.

DISADVANTAGES:

* Setup cost:-

              The network set up requires an investment in hardware and software for planning, designing, to setup and implementing the network. For a small network two three system ,it is relatively inexpensive but for large network , the cost can considerably much higher.

 * Undesirable sharing :-

                                 Data sharing is required in sharing the needed information and also it is very risky, because of easy spreading of virus and other undesirable data over networks and internet.

* Data security concerns. 
    
* Brawbacks causing.
